We have five PE teachers at Heritage Intermediate:
Intramural Sports
This year we will be offering FOUR Intramural Sports for students to participate in: Volleyball, Basketball, Football, & Soccer. Information for each can be found below:
Intermural Sports
This year we will be offering ONE Intermural Sport for students to participate in: Soccer. Students will need to try out for the team and the team will practice and compete against the other middle schools in our district. Students will travel to other middle schools during the season and may miss class time due to travel.
TRANSPORTATION: Parents/Guardians must provide transportation home from practice and home games. For away games, we will provide transportation back to Heritage Intermediate for students who do not ride home with their parents/guardians after the game. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to pick their students up after practice no later than 3:30pm, after home games no later than 4:15pm, and upon returning from an away game in a timely manner. Students will be encouraged to provide parents/guardians with an estimated time of arrival when returning from an away game. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's coach.

Parking for Home Games: Spectators are welcome to park in open parking spaces in the front of the school or along the curb by McDermott Sports Complex off of East Liberty Parkway. Spectators will enter through the gate at the south of our track and field. Please see the image below. The red line indicates the gates that spectators can enter through. The yellow lines indicate where parking is legal and permitted.
