I’m excited to spend this year exploring numbers, experiments, and creative problem-solving with your student. I’m passionate about STEM and hands-on learning, and in our classroom, students will build inventions, design experiments, and tackle real-world math projects that connect to everyday life. We’ll also focus on building life-ready skills like time management, perseverance, and critical thinking—habits that support big goals like college, careers, or even pro sports. This is my sixth year teaching math and science. Teaching is my second career—I previously worked as a firefighter/EMT and in website development. I earned my credential from California Baptist University and a Master’s in Social Emotional Learning from National University, where I also served as an adjunct professor. Outside of school, I enjoy horseback riding, board games (Everdell is a favorite), historical fiction, museums, and collecting oddities. Our class motto this year is: “If you want it, work for it.” It’s a daily reminder that effort today shapes the future.
