Returning Students

Class Schedule Information
The first day of school for the 2018/2019 School Year will be Monday, August 6, 2018.  Your child's class assignment will be available online. Parents of returning students must complete the annual online Data Confirmation prior to obtaining class assignments. Please complete the parent Data Confirmation by logging into the Aeries Parent Portal. Click here to log into your Aeries Parent Portal.

The online Data Confirmation Window opens July 16-27, 2018

All students will be available on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 4:00pm.

Due to current student enrollment numbers, classroom changes will be considered after the first two weeks of school. 

New Students

Middle school registration can be completed at the Heritage Intermediate School site.  It is not necessary to bring your child to register.

At the time of registration, we will need the following:

  1. Birth Certificate (Certified)
  2. Proof of residence (verification of address)
    • Home owners or renters must submit two (2) proofs of address:
      Billings addressed to you at your residence address within the last month from Southern California Gas Company, Southern California Edison Company, Telephone Company (i.e., GTE, MCI) OR any of the following documents bearing your residence address: Homeowners/renters insurance policy, certified copy of escrow papers, current tax return. 
    • If you are living with someone else, a notarized form must be submitted along with two bills in the name of the homeowner. It is available with the registration packet.
    • For homes being built or being purchased: An escrow document showing the closing date which is scheduled within 30 days of enrolling.
  3. Emergency contact information (the name of local doctor and dentist who will accept your child for emergency care)
  4. Complete immunization record (or a letter from a physician indicating sequence of shots in process). Records and/or dates of the immunizations listed below:

Polio

4 doses

But... 3 doses meet requirement if the last dose was given after the 4th birthday.

 Diphtheria, Tetanus & Pertussis (DTP/DtaP)

Age 6 years and under
(Pertussis is required)
DTP, DT or DTaP, or any combination of DTP/DTaP with DT or Td (Tetanus and Diphtheria)

Age 7 years and older
(Pertussis is not required)
Td, DT, DTP, DTaP, or any combinations of these

Age 6 years and under:
4 doses

Age 7 years and older:
3 doses

Age 6 years and under:
Fourth dose must be after 4th birthday. If before 4th birthday, another dose is required.

Age 7 years and older:
One more dose of Td if last dose was given before the 2nd birthday. (2)

 Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
Given together as one injection

2 doses
(3) 

Must be given on or after the 1st birthday. 

 Hepatitis B

 3 doses

 Required for Kindergarten entry

Before new students are enrolled in public schools, California state law requires that parents provide the above immunization information from the child's medical record. The information must include the day, month, and year of the measles immunization and the month and year of each of the other immunizations. 

Registration must be completed before students are admitted to class.
